Since 1993, KLS Martin has introduced innovative products, from the RED II distractor in 1997 to Longitudinal Sternal Stabilization (LSS) in 2016. The 2023 expansion of the IPS® portfolio with IPS® Distraction and IPS® Preprosthetic showcases their ongoing commitment to excellence.
In the early 2000s, KLS Martin's partnerships and innovations solidified their reputation. The ribbon cutting of the LP building in 2011 and strategic partnerships with Bien-Air in 2004 and MedLED® in 2011 demonstrated growth and commitment to patient care. The introduction of SonicWeld Rx® in 2005 revolutionized resorbable fixation, setting new standards in the industry, while their introduction of the Sternal Talon in 2006 broadened their product range into thoracic surgery.
The dedicated Manufacturing building in 2017 brought production to the U.S., ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency. In 2018, the L1® MMF and IPS® Planning System expanded their CMF product portfolio. The WORLD North America Education building in 2019 emphasized their dedication to education.
