Course concept
Join us for this comprehensive course about IPS Implants® Preprosthetic: an innovative dental rehabilitation approach to overcome the most challenging scenarios.
Patients with significantly atrophic jaws and defects following ablative tumor treatment and post-traumatic and congenital jaw deformities often do not allow for traditional dental implant rehabilitation. The unfavorable skeletal pseudoclass Ill relationship remains the greatest challenge within this patient group. 3D planning and manufacturing technologies have enabled a new non-augmentative preprosthetic surgical treatment via an individual patient solution (IPS®) approach. Unlike previous subperiostal implants, these implants are additively manufactured from 3D imaging data and have a "one fit only" functionalized design with unsurpassed primary stability due to multivector rigid fixation.
The course will introduce the innovation and report experiences from 90 cases performed at a single university center including prosthodontic connections and denture possibilities. Besides the Medical School of Hannover also Akademinska University Hospital in Sweden and oneClinic in Lisboa are showing their experiences using the most innovative technique of IPS Implants® Preprosthetic.
In addition to the surgical approach, the prosthetic connections and denture possibilities will be pointed out during this meeting.
